About
About DailyMoment
DailyMoment is a place to share one moment a day with the people you care about, and to meet people nearby through Hubs. Here's why it exists and how it works.
Why we built it
DailyMoment started with a simple question. What would a social app look like if it only asked for a minute of your day, and then helped you spend more of the rest of it with people?
One moment a day. Video, voice or photo, up to 60 seconds. That’s enough to show someone your Tuesday.
The feed ends. You see today’s moments from the people you chose, newest first. Nothing is ranked or suggested.
Nothing to keep up with. There are no streaks, levels, badges or leaderboards, and missing a day changes nothing.
Meeting in person matters most. Hubs turn shared interests into regular local meet-ups, with check-in at the door. A good day on DailyMoment often ends somewhere else.
You’re the customer. We’re subscription-led. The daily limit keeps our costs low, so we don’t need your attention to pay the bills. If a brand ever appears, it’s native, disclosed, and gone in seven days, and never targeted on your private life.
This is the short version. You can also read the full manifesto.
