DailyMoment child safety standards
DailyMoment has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE). These standards apply to everyone who uses DailyMoment, across moments, comments, messages, Hubs, meet-ups and Dating. They sit alongside our community guidelines and terms.
What we prohibit
Child sexual abuse and exploitation is prohibited on DailyMoment
The following are never allowed, whether in public posts, private messages, profiles or anywhere else in the app:
- Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) of any kind, including drawn, animated, edited or AI-generated imagery that depicts or sexualises a minor.
- Sexualising minors in any way, including sexual comments about a child or content that presents a child in a sexual manner.
- Grooming: building trust with a minor, or with someone you believe to be a minor, in order to sexually abuse or exploit them.
- Sextortion: threatening or pressuring a minor to share sexual images, money or anything else.
- Soliciting, offering, trading or asking for sexual content involving minors, or links to it elsewhere.
- Child trafficking, or arranging to meet a minor for sexual purposes.
- Any other content or conduct that sexually abuses, exploits or endangers children.
Who can use DailyMoment
Age requirements
13 and over
You must be at least 13 to create a DailyMoment account. Accounts we find belong to someone younger are closed.
18 and over for Dating
Dating requires ID verification and a date-of-birth check. Anyone under 18 is turned away automatically, and an underage attempt locks Dating on that account.
If you see something
How to report child safety concerns
In the app
Tap the three dots on any moment, comment, message or profile, choose Report, then choose Child safety. It is the first option in the list. The person you report is not told who reported them.
How fast we act
Child safety reports go to the top of our moderation queue and are reviewed by a person ahead of every other kind of report.
Block
Blocking someone removes them from your moments, Hubs, messages and Dating straight away. They are not told.
Outside the app
If a child is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services first. In the US you can also report to the NCMEC CyberTipline at report.cybertip.org.
When we find it

- Preserve evidence

- Report
- Confirmed child sexual abuse material is reported to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and, where required, to law enforcement and the relevant national authority.
- Cooperate
- We respond to valid requests from law enforcement investigating child sexual abuse and exploitation.
Legal
Compliance with child safety laws
DailyMoment complies with applicable child safety laws and regulations, including the obligation to report child sexual abuse material to NCMEC under 18 U.S.C. § 2258A, and the equivalent requirements in the other countries where DailyMoment is available.
