Hubs

Meet people nearby through things you already enjoy

Hubs are small, regular meet-ups like board game nights, group walks and book clubs. Find one near you, hold a seat, and see the same people again next time. Joining and hosting are both free.

Why Hubs

Small groups that meet again and again

People already organise game nights and walks through event posts and group chats. Hubs give those groups a proper home, with RSVPs, reminders and safety tools built in.

  • About 12 seats

Meet-ups start small. When one fills up, the host can open another session.

  • Every week or two

Groups meet on a regular schedule, which makes it easier to get to know people.

  • Daytime and public

Cafés, parks, libraries and game shops. If there's a cost, you'll see it before you sign up.

  • No pressure

You're there to enjoy the activity. Romance can happen, but nobody expects it.

How it works

From finding a meet-up to going back next week

  1. See what's on

Browse upcoming meet-ups near you by activity and by day.

  2. Hold a seat

RSVP in one tap. If it's full, join the waitlist and you'll get a seat if someone drops out.

  3. Go along

You'll get a reminder before it starts, and the host checks you in when you arrive.

  4. Go back next time

Most groups meet again in a week or two. You can share your moment with the Hub that day if you like.

  • Board game nights
  • Group walks
  • Book clubs
  • Coffee mornings
  • Running and cycling
  • Sketching
  • Puzzle swaps
  • Quiz teams
  • Language practice
  • Picnics in the park
  • Knitting
  • Dog walks

For hosts

Hosting is free, and the app handles the admin

If you already run game nights, walking groups or book clubs, you can bring them to a Hub. There are no targets to hit and no host rankings.

  • RSVPs with a seat limit you choose
  • A waitlist that passes on the seat when someone drops out
  • Reminders before every session
  • Check-in at the venue, an attendee list and announcements
  • Weekly or fortnightly meet-ups, so regulars can plan ahead

Safety

Safety at every meet-up

  • Public places only

Meet-ups happen in public venues. We never share where attendees live or exactly where they are.

  • Check-in at the door

Hosts check people in when they arrive, so everyone knows who was there.

  • Report from the event

You can report a person or a meet-up in a couple of taps, and a person on our team reviews it. Hosts can remove attendees.

For organisations

Bring your club or group

Run clubs, alumni groups, game cafés and libraries can have a private Hub with organiser tools and repeating events.

Questions

Questions about Hubs

Are Hubs free?
Yes. Joining and hosting public Hubs are part of the free plan. Moment+ adds themed private Hubs.
Is this for dating?
No. Hubs are for spending time around something you enjoy. Romance can happen, but nobody goes to a Hub to be matched.
How big is a meet-up?
About 12 seats by default. When it fills, new people join the waitlist and the host can open another session.
What does check-in mean?
The host checks you in when you arrive. It helps everyone know who was there and supports our safety reviews. Nothing is counted or rewarded.
Where can I use Hubs?
DailyMoment launches in the US, Canada and the UK on October 15. New Hubs appear as hosts start them in each city.
